Play Middle C with minims.

Let's play this simple song using both of our thumbs on Middle C in minims (half notes).

Press the first C of the bar with a slightly stronger touch.

Here's how to play it:

*Right Hand:* 2 minims per bar, each worth 2 beats (4 beats total)

*Left Hand:* 2 minims per bar, each worth 2 beats (4 beats total), played after the right hand

*Rhythm:* Each bar has 4 beats, divided into 2 minims

*Counting:* Count each bar individually (1234, 2234, 3234 etc.)
