1. First, take a close look at the music on page 35 and read through the notes and rests.

2. Figure out how long each rest lasts - is it a quarter rest or a half rest? See if you can write out the note lengths under the notes to get a sense of rhythm.

3. Clap the rhythm with your hands to feel the timing.
