šŸ–šŸ¼šŸŽø Stretch Your Fingers with This Fun Guitar Exercise! šŸŽ¶


Hey everyone! šŸ˜€ Dani here from FunKeys – ready to help you get those fingers moving with a super simple (and super fun) guitar exercise!

Today we're diving into a five-finger stretch exerciseĀ that’ll help you build strength and flexibility. Whether you're a total beginner or just warming up, this one's for you!

šŸŽÆ What You’ll Need:

  • Your guitar šŸŽø

  • A metronome šŸŽ¼

  • Fingers 1, 2, 3 and 4 (yes, all of them!) šŸ–šŸ¼

šŸŽµ Let’s Get Into It:

šŸŽÆ Remember those fretsĀ we talked about last time?āœ”ļø The frets are the spaces between the metal lines, not the lines themselves! (ā± 0:22)

We’re going to work on the last three strings:

  • The 6th string

  • The 5th string

  • The 4th stringĀ (ā± 0:39)

Place your fingers like this:

  • 1st fret – Finger 1 ā˜ļø

  • 2nd fret – Finger 2 āœŒļø

  • 3rd fret – Finger 3 🤟

  • 4th fret – Finger 4 āœ‹

šŸ”¼ Ascend & šŸ”½ Descend!

Start on the 6th string and go up:1st fret → 2nd → 3rd → 4th

Then move to the 5th string and repeat.Then to the 4th string.

Now reverse it!Start on the 4th string and go backward:4th fret → 3rd → 2nd → 1stĀ (ā± 0:38)
