Coffin Dance - Rhythm Practise

Hi guys,

🎹 We have been spending the last few weeks working on 'Coffin Dance' - it's been great to hear everyone learning something new, and I think we are starting to get the grasp of the song!

❗This week we have been recapping what we've learnt so far, and really focusing on the rhythm.

🎶Rhythm is very important to understand, because without it, a piece would sound completely wrong!

👍Aside from the sharps in the song, this tune is pretty easy to pick up - so that's why we need to practise it to make the rhythm as accurate as possible!

📺Use the video below to help you practise the crotchet (1 beat) and quaver (1/2 beat) rhythms. It constantly jumps from one to the other and it can be confusing to remember which one comes next, unless we break it down!

❗We can call our quavers 'coffee' and crotchets 'tea' to help us find the beats!
