Hi All
Here is this week's practise clip. Watch the video, download your bonus sheet, read the simple practise tips and have a go!
This week, we learnt about Intervals on the piano. Intervals show us the distances between notes and how to count them.
šµOn your Funsheet, there are some funny letters called Roman Numerals I, IV, V. This is how numbers were written a long time ago! They are still used in music today!
šµThey also have numbers above them. They start with 1, 4 and 5.
šLook at the Little Bee Song.
The first note is D. It is note 1. Count 4 keys up. What note is this this? It's G! This is called a Perfect 4th. Count 5 notes up from D, you reach an A. This is a Perfect 5th.
D - note: š 1⣠G - 4th note: šššš 4⣠A - 5th note:ššššš 5ā£
This is the pattern of our song. You can sing the Intervals to the 'Little Bee' which are 1, 4 and 5.
š¹ Practise a few minutes a day to help you play the piano. Now you can download your bonus sheet and practise your Roman numerals too!
Lots of love from Fun-Keys š¼šššš¶
